South-Indian Vegetarian Lunch?

We chilled at Little India (Masjid Jamek) today, where Ruiyou had his fair share of South Indian delicacy. Vegetarian delicacy. Tehee :D

The Paneer Biryani Rice, which tasted not bad apparently.

South-Indian Spiced Buttermilk (Majjiga). Watched as Ruiyou's expression turned from :) to :| to :S
After asking the waiter, we learnt that the beverage was made up of cold milk, coriander leaves, salt, spices, beancurds, and ginger.
Bleargh.

Guess owner won't be stepping into any South-Indian vegetarian restaurant anytime too soon, haha.

Christmas Decor at Midvalley & Pavilion!

My day today was wholly spent with dear owner - we went to Midvalley and Pavilion to snap the decorations being set up to welcome Christmas later this month!

Christmas is, I believe, a festival that signifies togetherness - reunions. No matter what religion you embrace, what race you are, Christmas holds its place as a date where we get to hug loved ones, meet up with long-lost relatives and all.

Me? I'm happy enough to celebrate this Christmas, hopefully, with Ruiyou and his family :).

The decor sure does bring out the festive mood in people, doesn't it?
Golden Christmas baubles! :)

St. Mary's Church!

Owner brought me for a walk again, today ending up in St. Mary's Cathedral - somewhere near Dataran Merdeka. The last time he came, it was closed for renovation, and I felt his joy and enthusiasm as he stepped into the looming interior of the cathedral.

St. Mary's Church! I could feel Ruiyou's emanating happiness as he observed the architecture of the interiors :)

Hello, world :)

Ruiyou brought me to Petaling Street today, a long-awaited trip ever since he's been immersed in his A-Levels examinations :). Guess he craved for this excursion long enough!

The sky was so blue today! And the sunshine :D

Ruiyou's yummy lunch - the famous Koon Kee Wantan Noodles.

Love the vibrance, the energy of the market as a whole!

This is where they roasted nuts with coffee beans. The aroma was nice, but Ruiyou didn't buy any :(.

Little girl playing with a fluffy toy!

The controversial Jalan Sultan, safe at last, from being demolished.

Black and white!

Ruiyou's treat after a long, hot walk around the streets of Pasar Seni + Masjid Jamek. Looks so yummy!

Sticks of incense, bearing wishes of the people, hung up in an orderly manner.

A colourful array of shoplots flanking the "Benteng" near Masjid Jamek :)
